There’s also Bristow, the competitor to CHC that remains public. I’m guessing they were mentioned in the Fortune article, but just thought I’d give it a nod. I covered these two about a year ago:

Toby, I checked out your article on Motley Fool and Bristow Group (BRS) does look interesting. Any idea why the short interest is so high in the stock?

As mentioned in the piece, they have a less than clean record – foreign bribery, etc. But I haven’t seen a short case laid out explicitly. Bristow certainly isn’t alone among oil services stocks. Other high short interest brethren include Tidewater, Bolt Technology, Flotek, Grey Wolf, Carbo Ceramics…

I own BOLT, and the aggressive shorting has never made sense there either.

KAMN looks interesting. Boy have they had some outstanding growth in recent years. Margin of safety isn’t exactly where I would want it to be, but worth tracking.
