Kartick, I have personally admired Honda for a number of years but the stock always appears to be expensive just like Apple and Costco's stocks. At its current price of $34.61, the stock is not very far from its all time high of $39.89 set in January 2007 and looks expensive when compared to peers.

As a value investor I would prefer Tata Motors or even Ford at this point. More than half of Ford's sales come from international markets, particularly South America and Europe.

If TM is losing ~$500MM in sales/month, its competitors must be reacting to this aggressively in trying to build up a larger market segment share. Would you recommend going long on HMC or TTM? Your blog already addresses with F's valuation metrics may be skewed to show unrealistically favorable numbers.

Thanks!
